Warranty Policy

This Limited Warranty applies to bicycles purchased from twitterbikefactory.com or our authorized dealers. It outlines the warranty coverage, claim procedures, and terms of service provided by Twitter Bikes. This warranty is valid only for the original owner and is non-transferable.

1. Warranty Coverage
All bicycles sold by Twitter Bikes come with a manufacturer’s limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase, and valid proof of purchase is required for all claims.

A. 3-Year Limited Warranty – Frame
● Coverage: The bicycle frame is warranted against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase.
● This warranty covers only structural defects caused by normal intended use. It does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, or improper maintenance.

B. 1-Year Limited Warranty – Components
● Coverage: The following components are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase: hydraulic brakes, front fork, rear shock, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, bottom bracket, crankset, rear rack, and shifting systems.
● During the warranty period, we will provide free replacement parts for components confirmed to have manufacturing defects.

C. Items Excluded From Warranty
The following items and situations are not covered under this warranty:
● Accessories, free gifts, and bundled gear (these are covered under our Return Policy only for unused items within the standard return window).
● Damage caused by accidents, falls, collisions, or impact.
● Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, commercial rental use, stunt riding, or extreme riding beyond the intended purpose of the bicycle.
● Damage caused by improper assembly, unauthorized modification, alteration, or installation of non-original / incompatible parts.
● Damage caused by failure to follow the owner’s manual or perform routine maintenance.
● Damage caused by natural disasters, environmental corrosion, or other acts of God.
● Bicycles purchased from unauthorized sellers or third-party resellers.

D. Normal Wear & Tear Parts
Parts subject to normal wear and tear are not covered under this warranty. These include, but are not limited to: chain, brake pads, brake rotors, inner tubes, tires, saddle, grips, mineral oil for hydraulic brake systems, spokes, and bearings. Routine maintenance and replacement of these consumable parts are the sole responsibility of the owner.

2. How to File a Warranty Claim
All warranty claims must be submitted through our official customer support channel. To initiate a claim:
1.Submit a support ticket via the Contact page on our website, or email us directly at support@twitterbikefactory.com.
2.Provide your order number and a detailed description of the issue.
3.Our support team and certified mechanics will respond to your claim within 48 business hours.
4.You may be asked to provide photos, videos, or perform simple diagnostic tests to help our team identify the root cause and determine the appropriate solution.
Warranty claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period from the date of purchase (1 year for components, 3 years for the frame). Claims submitted after the warranty period has expired will not be accepted.

3. What We Will Do
After evaluation, if the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect covered under warranty:
● We will ship a free replacement part to the shipping address on file.
● For shipping damage reported within the required timeframe, we will arrange replacement of damaged parts at no cost to you.
● In select cases, we may authorize reimbursement for local repair costs at a certified bike shop, up to $200, as determined by our certified mechanics. All repair work must be pre-approved by Twitter Bikes in writing before service is performed.
● For eligible warranty claims, we will provide a prepaid return label for the defective part where return is required.
● A full bicycle replacement will only be offered if the frame has an irreparable structural manufacturing defect and cannot be resolved through part replacement. For eligible full replacement cases, we will arrange return logistics and cover associated shipping costs.

4. What We Will Not Do
● We will not process a warranty claim without photo or video evidence of the defective or damaged part.
● We will not provide warranty service for second-hand owners or purchasers from unauthorized sellers.
● We will not cover damage caused by user error, misuse, or unauthorized repair / modification.
● We will not reimburse any third-party repair or part replacement costs that were not pre-approved in writing by Twitter Bikes.
● We are not responsible for damage that occurs during return shipment if the customer uses their own shipping service without our prior approval.
● We will not cover damage or issues resulting from normal wear and tear.

5. Shipping Damage Claims
●Inspect your package immediately upon delivery. Shipping damage claims must be submitted to us within 14 calendar days of delivery. Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.
●If you notice visible damage to the outer packaging upon delivery, note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing, and take dated photos of both the packaging and the product.
●Keep all original packaging and shipping documents until the claim process is fully completed.
●Submit your claim with supporting photos via our support page or email within the 14-day window.

6. Parts Replacement & Return Process
● When a replacement part is issued under warranty, Twitter Bikes may request that the defective part be returned to our facility for inspection, at our discretion.
● If we provide a prepaid return label, you must return the defective part within 10 calendar days of receiving the label, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
● Upon receipt, returned parts will be inspected for defect and condition. If the returned part is found to have damage from user error, misuse, or causes not covered by warranty, we reserve the right to charge you for the replacement part and associated shipping costs.
● Failure to return the defective part as required may result in denial of future non-warranty services.

7. Chargeback Disputes
Filing a chargeback does not affect your statutory warranty rights for genuine product defects. However, during an active chargeback investigation, we reserve the right to pause order-related services such as replacement shipments and accessory dispatches until the dispute is fully resolved.

8. Safety Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Safety Notice
Riding any bicycle involves inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury or death. It is the rider’s responsibility to ride safely, obey local traffic laws, and wear appropriate safety gear including a certified helmet.

All bicycles undergo pre-shipment quality inspection and basic adjustment before dispatch. Due to long-distance international transportation, some components (such as brakes and gears) may require fine-tuning after receipt. We strongly recommend having the bicycle assembled and fully inspected by a certified bicycle mechanic before your first ride. Always perform a pre-ride safety check to ensure all components are properly secured and adjusted.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Twitter Bikes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, including but not limited to economic loss or property damage.

Nothing in this policy shall limit or exclude our liability for:
● Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
● Defective products under applicable mandatory product liability laws;
● Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. General Terms
● This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by country or region.
● We reserve the right to update this Warranty Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date, and will only apply to orders placed after the effective date of the update. Your warranty rights for orders already placed will remain unaffected by any policy changes.
● Warranty coverage is valid only for products purchased from twitterbikefactory.com or our authorized dealers. To verify if a seller is authorized, please contact our support team at support@twitterbikefactory.com.
● We reserve the right to interpret these warranty terms in accordance with applicable law.

Customer Service Conduct
We are committed to providing respectful and professional customer service, and we expect the same standard of conduct from our customers. In the event of persistent abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward our staff, we reserve the right to limit communication channels and refuse non-warranty value-added services. Statutory warranty rights for confirmed manufacturing defects will not be affected by communication conduct.
